Born in San Jose, CA 1954, moved to El Centro, CA on the Mexican Border

Learned Spanish in school and growing up in California

Served as a Health Missionary in Tahiti (French Polynesia) 1976-1977 Learned French, Tahitian, and some Maori

B.A. Languages (French, Spanish, Tahitian) 1979, Brigham Young University

Served as an U.S. Air Force Intelligence Officer 1979 -1981, TX, CO, W. Germany

Lived in Germany 1980-1983, learned some German

Raised 4 beautiful brilliant daughters, 2 are married,4 adorable grandchildren

Taught ESL 1985-1987 GA, 1991 UT, 1998 WA

Taught Middle School French, Spanish, and World Language Exploratory (exploring 8 different languages) for 8 years in WA 1997 - 2005
